Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the team has been struggling with increased sickness over the past couple of months. This has impacted on the availability of OT at Cynthia Spencer. We are doing everything possible to ensure there is an OT available on site when required.

Hospice at home was amazing. Just so much help and confidence giving to have my husband die at home, which can be quite scary. Wonderful [name removed].

I am well looked after.
Suggested improvements
I asked for loratadine to treat my allergic reaction I was prescribed an alternative that did not work and I continued to get worse and quite uncomfortable. In the end I got my husband to bring in loratadine tablets.

Thank you for your feedback. I have shared this with medical colleagues to ensure we have prescribed the medication that is most appropriate. It is difficult for me to comment on a specific medication but there may have been additional reasons as to why this medication was not appropriate. Totally satisfied with care, compassion - and outcome./nSadly in the time available no night carer possible.
Suggested improvements
Night cover? But right over Christmas and had an other of help the day my husband died (28/12/21).

Thank you for your feedback. The Hospice at Home team strive to offer night shifts when possible, and when staffing allows. The team have taken on board the feedback and will continue to offer night shifts as and when this is possible.
